Pansy Varner (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Pansy Mildred Varner, daughter of the late John & Clara (Phillips) Jones, was born on September 30, 1921 in Windyville, MO and departed this life on January 26, 2018 in Buffalo, MO. At the time of her passing she was 96 years, 3 months and 26 days of age.
Pansy loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very kind and loving woman, especially towards animals. She was always adopting stray cats and dogs and loved to watch her hummingbirds, making sure they never went hungry. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and growing a variety of flowers. She loved to go mushroom hunting, take walks in the woods, crochet and quilt. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church until her health no longer permitted her to attend on a regular basis. She also loved to bake; she would bake a variety of dishes from pies to cobblers and had the best biscuits and gravy around.
Pansy was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wayne Jones; one son-in-law, Wayne Alexander; and one daughter-in-law, Deanna Varner. She is survived by her son, Ron Varner; her daughter, Carol Sue Alexander; her two sisters, Dorothy Cline and Nadine Garrison; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many friends and family who will all truly miss her.
