Patricia Brewer (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Although a resident of Bolivar, MO, Patricia “Trish” Frances Brewer, 73, died on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Trish, while in route to visit her son who lives in Idaho, had a mild heart attack on May 31st,2015, and was air lifted from Wyoming to Utah. Her condition prompted an emergency triple bypass surgery on June 4th, 2015 resulting in severe complications leading to her death.
Trish is preceded in death by her mother Frances Lorraine Nunnaley and father Albert “Dean” Nunnaley. She is survived by her husband of forty years, David E.Brewer. She is survived by her brother Robert “Bob” Dean Nunnaley and his wife Rebecca of North Carolina and sister, Joan “Joni” Marie Curttright of California. She is also survived by her children Margaret “Peggy” Lee Thompson of Alaska, Kathyryn “Kathy” Louise Arendt and her husband Creighton of Bolivar, Missouri, and Michael “Mike” Johnston and his wife Candace of Boise, Idaho. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Arriving in Bolivar, ten years ago from California, Trish wasted no time serving the local community. She served the Polk County area by giving her time year-round working the Share Your Christmas Outreach Program. She loved sewing blankets and stuffed animals for the Women’s Ministry program and also volunteered at the Polk County Christian Ministry. She had a loving, caring soul for all those around her. Her smile radiated like the sun and warmed the hearts of those she met. She will be missed by friends and especially by her family.
