Patricia Diane Dotty ( Buffalo)'s Obituary
Patricia Diane Doty, was born July 25, 1948 to Frankie M and Frances Foster in Richmond, KY. Diane went home to be with her Heavenly Father at 12:20 p.m. on October 29, 2017 after fighting cancer for 19 years, with her loving husband and other family members by her side.
Diane was the beloved wife of Jerry Doty, and he was her everything since their marriage on November 23, 1984. He tirelessly sat by her side for the last two months of her life.
Diane is survived by her husband, Jerry Doty of the home; sons, Daniel Hatfield (Mary), Dale Doty (Joyce), Steven Doty (Dahlia), and Travis Doty (Mary); two sisters, Donna Jean Love and Deborah L. Ward; nine grandchildren, Lillian Grace and Elijah Graham Hatfield, Ashley Doty (Cory), Trevor Doty (Katrina), Jessica Doty (Derrick), Chase Doty, Lane Doty, Ethan Doty, and Marissa Doty; and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in the Cantlon Otterness Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rodney Campbell officiating. Escorts will be Daniel Hatfield, Steven Doty, Trevor Doty, Dale Doty, Travis Doty, and Lane Doty. Interment will be in the Maple Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon Otterness Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Transitions Hospice of Bolivar, MO.
