My heart hurts for the Kirby family. My thoughts and love are with you.
Pat will always hold a special place in my heart. She was an example of strength when I needed it, and was always willing to lend a hand. I know I didn't keep in touch, but I speak of her often and have a knowing she is gone brings such sadness. Pat, may you look down and watch over your family. Our hearts are with you.

Jim were very sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and family. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and give you peace.

Nancy and I are in shock at the loss of such a good and long-time friend. We were together when our daughter and Cricket started school in Germany and when they were graduated in Lawrence (Indianapolis) Indiana. In between those times we had so many great times together. Although we spent little time together in recent years Pat and Jim were often in our thoughts and conversation. Pat will be missed, but never forgotten. May God bless your family.

I used to visit Pat & Jim on weekends pretty often while we were both stationed in Germany in the early 70's, I was in Kaiserslautern and they were in Frankfurt, a 4 hour train trip. We always had great times together. But on one occasion I spent the whole week with them because Jim's parents were there, my Aunt & Uncle and I wanted to be with them while they were visiting. The middle of the week we all climbed aboard a train and went to Amsterdam. Pat, Cricket, Cherie, Aunt Mary and Uncle Willard were all in the first class car, while Jim and I were in second class. Pat and the girls all got a kick when Jim & me would go back and forth from our car to theirs until the conductor would come around for tickets! We all had a great time especially hauling enough luggage for a small army that Pat had packed the family! I'll always remember that trip, it was very special! Jimmy, Cricket and Cherie I am praying for y'all! Lots of Love Cousin Larry
