Patricia "Pat" Lynch (Seymour)'s Obituary
Patricia E. “Pat” Lynch, age 89, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Glenwood Healthcare following a lingering illness. Pat was born Saturday, August 9, 1930 in Conrad, Montana to Lawrence McDowell and Gladys E. (Field) McDowell. On November 15, 1946 she was united in marriage to Austin Ira Lynch and to this union one son Michael was born.
Pat retired from HD Lee where she had been a seamstress. She had also taken in seamstress work at her home. Pat had served on the board of the Seymour Library and had volunteered her time in the library as well. She just loved to read!! Outdoor flowers brought her happiness as well.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, her only son Michael Austin Lynch on October 22, 1985 and her husband Austin on May 9, 1997 as well as a sister.
Surviving Pat are two grandchildren Clayton T. Lynch and Stacey A. Lynch of the state of Missouri; a special friend Delores Turner of Seymour, Missouri; a sister-in-law Ernestine Lynch of the state of California; a brother-in-law and wife Tony & Janice Lynch of Fordland, Missouri and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be left at the funeral for the Seymour Community Library.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. at the Seymour Masonic Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour.
