Patricia L. Messer (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Patricia Lynn Messer, son of Orval Eugene and Gayle Ann Stull Zickefoose, was born, November 9, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. She departed this life, Monday, August 6, 2012, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty years eight months and twenty-eight days.
On October 15, 1977 in Mount Pleasant, Iowa she was united in marriage to Romaine Wayne Messer. Together they shared thirty-four years of marriage
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Romaine Messer of the home; four brothers, Loren Zickefoose and wife Nan of Woolford, Maryland; Phillip Zickefoose of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Mark Zickefoose and wife Judy of Camdenton, Missouri and Keith Zickefoose and wife Tammy of Richland, Missouri; a sister, Nancy Sasseen of New Fairfield, Connecticut and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Pat was raised in Iowa and was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. After her marriage they made their home in Iowa for a time. She and Romaine have lived at the Lake of the Ozarks for the past thirty years.
Pat made a profession of faith and attended New Life Church of the Nazarene.
In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a wife, sister and aunt loving and a caring neighbor and friend. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
