Patricia Myers (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Patricia Ann Myers, daughter of John Costello and Barbara Ruth Colby Bragg, was born December 19, 1946, in Littleton, New Hampshire. She departed this life Wednesday, July 24, 2019, in Lebanon North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years, seven months, and five days.
On April 13, 1989, she was united in marriage to Gail Larrison Myers, and they shared the last thirty years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Scott Rogers; and a brother, Donald T. Bragg.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Gail, of the home; a son, Shawn D. Rogers, and his wife, Leha, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; two step-children, Theodore “Ted” Myers, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, and Jennifer Gould, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two grandchildren, Brittany Lindsay, and her husband, Shawn, and Courtney Lee Ann Rogers, and her fiancé, Layne Wood; two step-grandchildren, Brayden and Aeriaen Myers; a brother, Stanley Bragg, and his wife, Kathy, of Leesburg, Florida; a sister, Nancy Flory, and her husband, Chris, of Linden, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in Whitefield, New Hampshire, and graduated from high school there. After she married her first husband, they lived in various locations while he served in the United States Air Force. Later, she met and married, Gail, and they made their home in Lebanon, Missouri and Fort Myers, Florida. Through the years, Patricia had been a devoted homemaker to her husband and family and had worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant in a nursing home in Lebanon. She had also worked as a teller for Great Southern Savings and Loan and at a couple of other jobs.
Patricia followed the Catholic faith throughout her life.
In her spare time she enjoyed working in her flower garden, and playing games with her family. Her favorite game was Chicken Foot. She always looked forward to spending time with friends each weekend. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
The family will have a Celebration of Life Service Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Unity Worship Center, on West Park Manor Blvd., in Lebanon, Missouri.
