Patricia Ann O'Dell (Hartville)'s Obituary
Patricia Ann O’Dell, daughter of Lawrence and Viola Henderson Stanford, was born January 24, 1935 in Lexington, Nebraska. She departed this life Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in the Hartville Care Center, Hartville, Missouri, at the age of seventy-nine years, one month, and eight days.
On December 26, 1972, Pat was united in marriage to Newell Wallace O’Dell.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Newell, on February 26, 2010; and a daughter, Susan Stafford.
She is survived by her two sons, Gary Wolfe of the State of Nebraska, and Brad Wolfe of the State of Colorado; four grandchildren, Cody Stafford Katey Stafford, Kylie Wolfe, and Erin Gherig; five great-grandchildren, Morgan Stafford, Kaden, Mitchell, Spencer, and Jaxson Gherig; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Pat lived in various locations throughout her life and settled in Colorado where she met and married Newell. They lived in Springfield, Missouri for a short time before moving to Grovespring, Missouri in 1980.
Pat attended both Mt. Pisgah and Little Creek Baptist Churches when able.
She was a skilled woodcarver, teaching classes at Silver Dollar City for several years, and owned and operated a beauty shop for many years.
Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
