Patricia Marie Scott (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Patricia Marie Rose Scott, daughter of Edwin Vernon and Anastasia Hazel Kapuschansky Scott, was born April 8, 1944, in Yonkers, New York. She departed this life Monday, September 30, 2013, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-nine years, five months, and twenty-two days.
Her father preceded her in death.
Patricia is survived by her mother, Anastasia Hazel Scott, of Lebanon, Missouri; an aunt, Mary Utt, of Aurora, Colorado; a number of cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Yonkers, New York, and attended Catholic schools there. She continued her education at Cathedral College and earned her degree in journalism from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She made her home in Hawaii for several years, and worked as a cashier at the Post Exchange. She then lived in Colorado for a time, before moving to Lebanon, Missouri, in 1982.
Patricia was raised in the Catholic faith and was active in a church in Hawaii.
She liked sports and especially enjoyed watching football and baseball. She also greatly enjoyed dancing. Her family was very important to her and she liked spending time with her cousins.
Patricia was a loving daughter, niece, and cousin, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations to The Kitchen in Springfield, Mo. may be left at the funeral home.
