Patrick Grimes (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Patrick Stephen Grimes, 76 years of age, passed away on August 29, 2023, in Bolivar, MO Missouri from congestive heart failure.
Patrick was born in Altadena, California on August 25, 1947, to Fred and Grace Grimes. Patrick graduated from Pasadena High School in 1965. He served in the Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969, serving in Vietnam for two tours of duty.
Patrick and Shirley Byer were married August 25, 1972. They had been married for 51 years. Patrick was employed at Northrop California Department of Corrections. He built a beautiful home in Rosamond, California and enjoyed renovating the homes they owned.
Patrick is survived by his spouse, Shirley Grimes, children Nathan and Angela Grimes, and his granddaughters, Talia and Megan Grimes. He left a great legacy for his family, and they are well provided for, He instilled in them a strong work ethic and integrity.
Patrick accepted Christ as his savior at age 15. He practiced his Christianity throughout his life and served as a Christian example to family and friends. He was humble and wise during his life. He loved seeing pictures of children and people he supported. His deepest desire would be to have Great Commission spread to the lost! He will be missed greatly.
