Patrick Murphy (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Patrick Shawn Murphy, son of Paul Wade and Pamela Massingham Murphy, was born July 28, 1964, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He departed this life Thursday, December 4, 2014, in his home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty years, four months, and six days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Richard Murphy.
Pat is survived by a brother, Jackie Murphy, and his wife, Bobbie, of Camdenton, Missouri; three sisters, Susie McGuire, Sharon Brown, and her husband, Bob, and Elizabeth Baker, and her husband, Eafe, all of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in Laclede County, Missouri, and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. He then attended welding school in Nevada, Missouri, before beginning a career in boat manufacturing. Through the years, Pat had worked as a welder for Tracker Marine, Generation-3, and Lowe Boats in Lebanon.
He enjoyed being outdoors, where his favorite activities were fishing and hunting. He also liked watching sci-fi movies, and having coffee with his neighbors and friends. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Patrick was a loving brother, uncle, great-uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
