Patsy Joan Bales (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Patsy Joan Bales, 87, of Vancouver, Washington and formerly of Ski Harbor, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.
Patsy was born on December 2, 1932 in Urbana, Illinois; the daughter of Harold and Eugenia (Richards) Frizzell. She married James Donald Bales on Christmas Eve 1949, and together shared 70 wonderful years of marriage.
Also surviving are: four daughters, Christine Lee Cammons, Sandra K. Covault, Nancy Louise Lotterberry, and Teal Ann Rihn; seven grandchildren, Rodney & Cortnie Covault, Robert Ayers, Wesley Lotterberry, Jamie & Chad Rihn, and Lisa Cammons; eighteen great-grandchildren, Auston, Parker, Hudson, Audrey, Mason, Caleb, Tommy, Marisa, Madison, Gunner, Makenna, Kaden, Dominic, Clayton, Eli, Violet, Arella, and Tyler; two great-great-grandchildren, Maximus and Wesson; and one sister, Betty Frizzell.
Patsy and James lived together in Ski Harbor for 33 years. There, they spent many nights square dancing together and she was a member of the Hickory County Line Dance Club. They also found their church home at Antioch Christian Church in Pittsburg; where they fellowshipped and served until moving to Washington to be near family.
A Funeral was held for Patsy at Antioch Christian Church in Pittsburg, MO on Saturday, December 28, 2019; Pastor Don Hart officiating. Burial took place at Antioch Cemetery.
