Patsy D. Brown (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Patsy Dean Brown, daughter of Ernest Milton and Ruby Dorothy Paulson Terry, was born March 5, 1939, in Marshfield, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, June 16, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-six years, three months, and eleven days.
On January 14, 1956, she was united in marriage to Bobby Joe Brown, and to this union two daughters and one son were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Joyce Brown; a son, Jack Brown; a brother, Buddy Terry; two sisters, Bonnie Guffey, and Doris Shumate; and several step-brothers and step-sisters.
Patsy is survived by her husband, Bobby, of the home; a daughter, Pamela Weddle, and her husband, Roger, of Lebanon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Amy Snook, and her husband, Brent, April Winfrey, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Allen Weddle, of Neosho, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Addison Snook, Tyler and Emily Winfrey; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. After she and Bob were married, they made their home near Lebanon, and lovingly raised their children. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Patsy worked in the walnut bowl factory at Independent Stave Company for several years.
Patsy made her profession of belief in Christ and followed the Baptist faith throughout her life.
In her spare time she enjoyed camping, and playing video games with her grandchildren. She also was an excellent cook and liked listening to country music and watching movies. She had a great affection for her dogs and enjoyed their company. She possessed a sweet and kind disposition and loved her family dearly.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her seventy-six years.
