Patsy Dibben (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Patsy Jean Dibben, the daughter of John Harvey and Feran Marie Knapp Hill, was born on July 9, 1942, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, November 27, 2017, in her home, at the age of seventy-five years, four months, and eighteen days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Collin Dibben; and a brother, Harvey Hill.
Patsy is survived by a daughter, Cerissa Welsh, and her husband, Dennis, of Crocker, Missouri; four grandchildren, Shelbi, Anthony “Bub”, Kayla, and Kendra; a number of great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn “Becky” Fraley, of Bois D’ Arc, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1960. She then attended Missouri Baptist Nursing School for three years, and earned her Registered Nursing license. Through the years, Patsy worked at the Lebanon hospitals, and at various nursing homes, including Bland Nursing Home, Elder Care, and the Neighborhood Senior Residential Center. She had also worked as a private nurse for many families. She was devoted to her work and her patients and loved helping others. She was also a dedicated homemaker and loving mother to her daughter and son.
Patsy made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life, and was a longtime active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed attending all kinds of church activities.
In her spare time she loved shopping and visiting with her many friends. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed having quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
A visitation will follow the service.
