Patsy C. Horsley (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Patsy Cozette Horsley was born August 1, 1938 in Abilene, Texas to Albert and Jessie Craighead Raulston. She passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024 in her Lebanon, Missouri home. She was eighty-five years, eleven months and twenty-seven days of age.
Patsy led an interesting life, growing up in several different towns. She was employed as a cocktail waitress at the Bear Club and at the Del Monte canning facility. Her life completely turned around when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Since that time, Patsy was a living testament for God and invited everyone to church and shared the gospel with everyone she met.
On November 1, 1969, Patsy was united in marriage to Wesley Hugh Horsley and to this union they had two daughters and four sons. They were married almost forty-eight years before he passed away on September 16, 2017.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wesley; her brother, Mike Craighead; and a granddaughter, Chasity Horsley.
She is survived by two daughters, Launda Arrigoni and her husband Michael of Lebanon, Missouri and Debbie Henson and her husband Chuck of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; four sons, Thomas Nutt and his wife Brenda of Lebanon, Missouri, Jerry Nutt and his wife Leann, of Tunas, Missouri, Mitchell Horsley and his wife Shari of Lebanon, Missouri and Wesley Horsley and his wife Christella of Phillipsburg, Missouri; twenty-one grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren; and her sister, Judy Morris and her husband Henry of Modesto, California.
Patsy taught a Bible Study for several years. She loved God with all her heart and enjoyed living out her faith. She was loved by everyone and never met a stranger.
She enjoyed baking, crocheting, watching westerns on television and going on walks. She was proud of her strong, loving family. Her relationship with God and her family were the most important to her.
Patsy was a woman of deep faith, finding solace and strength in her spiritual journey. Her life was a testament to the values of love, compassion, and kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Services for Patsy Horsley will be Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Harvest Church in Lebanon, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday, August 1 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery at noon on Friday.
A memorial to Harvest Church Women's Ministry has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
