Patsy Julian's Obituary
Pasty Evelena Julian, daughter of Lawrence Joy and Alta Ellen (Wheeler) Duckworth, was born July 10, 1939, in Pond Fork, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, August 16, 2011, in her home, at the age of seventy-two years, one month and six days. On July 28, 1956, she was united in marriage to Jerry Alva Julian, and to this union one son and one daughter were born. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Alva Julian on May 19, 1998; her parents; her brothers-in-law, Ralph Rambo and Larry Julian; her father and mother-in-law, Jack and Bertha Julian; and a niece, Deana Duckworth. Patsy is survived by her loving children, Terry Julian of Ava, Missouri, and Jerene Harris and husband Albert of Nixa, Missouri; her grandchildren, Gary Julian and wife Karie of Ozark, Missouri, Cody Julian and wife Courtney, Kaley Julian, Jessica Trapp and husband Larry all of Seymour, Missouri, Allison Stevens and husband Josh of Ozark, Missouri; her great-grandchildren Bailey and Brody Julian of Ozark, Missouri, Preston and Lillian Trapp and Maddy Julian all of Seymour, Alexis Harris of Ozark, Missouri, Jayden and Jaimeson Stevens of Ozark, Missouri; her sisters Anita DeArmond and husband Frank, Moletus Myers and husband Kenneth, Peggy Boring and husband Wilbur and JoAnn Rambo all of Seymour, Missouri, Jalane Childress and husband Eddie of Warsaw, Missouri; her brothers JR. Duckworth and wife Rosalie of Ozark, Missouri, Larry Duckworth and wife Wanda and Joey Duckworth and wife Michelle all of Seymour, Missouri; her sister-in-law Pat Julian of Springfield, Missouri and her loving companion and special friend Wallace Denny, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. She moved to the Seymour area at an early age and began her roots here in the community. Pasty and Jerry made their home, near Seymour, and lovingly raised their family. She spent many years working as a seamstress for H.D. Lee and retired in 1995. Pasty had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of the Baptist faith, serving Him as she committed herself to caring for her family. In her spare time Pasty enjoyed reading, quilting, fishing and attending dances with her friends. Pasty?s genuine smile made you feel at ease. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. ?Just Mom?, two simple words to sum up a life time of love, understanding, friendship and care, building a legacy of love that will last. Pasty was a loving Mom, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and great-aunt and was a kind and loving friend and neighbor. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will forever cherish the memories she made for all who knew and loved her.
