On January 18, 1962, she was united in marriage to Stanley Eugene Arnold, and to this union two daughters and four sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Raymond “Sonny” Arnold; and a special friend, George Pargeon.
Patty is survived by her husband, Stanley; two daughters, Tammy Sein, and her husband, Anthony, and Crystal Ray, and her husband, Robert, all of Lebanon, Missouri; three sons, George Arnold, of Rolla, Missouri, James Arnold, of Stoutland, Missouri, and Stanley Arnold, of Lebanon, Missouri; twenty-four grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Zernie Campbell, Shelby White, both of Clifton Forge, Virginia, and Nancy Daniels, and her husband, Bobby, of Iron Gate, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; David Farris, who Patty raised as a son; her special dog, Mollie; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Virginia, and after meeting and marrying Stanley, they made their home in various locations while he was serving in the military. They lived in Texas, Washington, D.C., and Fort Leonard Wood. When Stanley retired, they made their home in the Stoutland area and lovingly continued raising their family. Through the years, Patty was a devoted homemaker to her husband and children, and did babysitting in her home for awhile.
Patty had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of New Testament Baptist Church for a number of years. She currently was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Richland. Her faith was very important to her and she made it the center of her life.
In her spare time she enjoyed visiting the area Amish stores, and going to Southern gospel song fests. She also was an avid reader. She was a very friendly person and never met a stranger. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial has been established and may be left at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
