Patty Lou Neil (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Patty Lou Neil, a beloved wife, mother, and dedicated member of her community, passed away on November 10, 2024, in Bolivar, Missouri, at the age of 86. She was born on August 1, 1938, in Wishart, Missouri, to Edgar and Hester (McKnight) Hopkins.
Patty grew up in the Wishart area, but spent her entire adult life in Bolivar, Missouri, where she cultivated deep roots and lasting relationships. She graduated from Morrisville High School, where she laid the foundation for a lifetime of hard work and service.
On June 10, 1956, Patty married the love of her life, Harlin Neil. Their union was blessed with love, companionship, and shared dreams. Together, they embarked on a journey filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Patty was an accomplished photographer where she took many portraits of families as well as individuals with diligence and integrity until her retirement. Upon retiring, she enjoyed traveling with Harlin and crafting beautiful flower arrangements that she would display and sell during their travels.
Harlin and Patty were faithful members of the Bolivar First Assembly of God, where they found solace, community, and spiritual guidance.
Patty will be remembered fondly for her unwavering commitment to her family, her strong work ethic, and her generous spirit. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children, Lisa Lechner and Joy Sass and seven grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Hope's Closet. Services are under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar.

Graveside service will be Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Aldrich, Missouri.
