Paul D Hebbert ( Bolivar)'s Obituary
Paul Donald Hebbert, age 94, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility, in Bolivar.
Paul was born February 16, 1923, in Polk, Missouri. He is the youngest of three children, born to Charles and Jessie Hebbert. His family moved from Ohio to Wyoming, and then Missouri, where Paul was born. Paul attended school at Green Mound and Goodson. On April 7, 1944, he and Dorothy Ragsdale were married. Throughout his life, Paul has worked in a variety of jobs in the fields of auto mechanics and mechanical maintenance. His extensive knowledge gave him the opportunity to share his knowledge for many years at Bolivar High School, where he developed a building trades program, building one house each year. Throughout his many employments, he continued cattle farming in Polk, County. Paul was a very talented musician that could play the piano, banjo and mandolin. Pall was a long-time member of Banjo International. His passion and love of music gave him the opportunity to travel the Country in various bands.
Paul in preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy and his parents. He is survived by his children, Nancy Jester and Steven Hebbert and his wife Sherry; five grandchildren, Jennifer Jester, Christen Jester, Lara Garrett and her husband Josh, Brook Hebbert and Brandon Hebbert; three great grandchildren, Benjamin Garrett, Madeline Garrett and Eric Plank
Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Bill Hooper at 1:30 PM Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held 12:00 noon to 1:30 PM Friday, June 2, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, MO following services.
