Paul W. Jones (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Paul Wain Jones, Sr was born in Russellville, Arkansas on January 21, 1946 to Opal and Minnie Jones. He was a brother to six sisters and three brothers.
Paul spent his years with a large, caring, and close family. Paul was one of ten siblings so he had many nieces and nephews in his life.
In 1957 Paul and his family relocated to Valley View, IL where he met is loving wife Carmen Aytona. Paul and Carmen married on September 1, 1968 after his service with the United States Army as a medic.
Paul and Carmen were blessed with two sons, Paul Jones, Jr and Quention Jones and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul was a classic car lover who had great pride in his hot rod and racing stories, he was always able to have good stories and even better jokes.
Paul retired as a 20 year employee of Tracker Marine. On December 31, 2025, Paul left this world. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Jones; his son, Quention Jones; his parents, Opal and Minnie Jones; three sisters and one brother.
Paul is survived by his son, Paul Jones, Jr; three sisters; two brothers; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
Services for Paul will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow services Friday in the Barren Creek Cemetery.
