Paul R. Moore (Hartville)'s Obituary
Paul Robert Moore was born March 21, 1928 in Wright County, Missouri to Charles Edgar and Thula Mae Kendall Moore. He departed this life November 11, 2013 at the age of eighty-five years, seven months, and twenty-one days, in Cox Medical Center, South, after a short illness.
On August 19, 1959, Paul was united in marriage to Elizabeth “Betty” Moore, and together they have shared the past fifty-four years.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Homer, Charlie, Leonard, Virgil, and Gene Moore; three sisters, Beulah, Marie, and Faye; and a great-granddaughter, Skylar Kelley.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953 as a medic and was honorably discharged at Camp Crowder.
Paul made his living by farming and cutting wood. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Paul is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Elizabeth Moore, of the home; three daughters, Debbie Weaver and husband Don, Robin Lane and husband Houston, and Connie Arnall and husband Bill; six grandchildren, Mark O’Connor and friend Corie Harris, Sandy McCann and husband Jason, Michael Kelley, Jarrod Arnall and fiancé Cheyenne Lane, Elizabeth Arnall and friend Heath Donevan, and Craig Lane; four step-grandchildren, David, Ronald, Melvin, and Michael Lane; nine great-grandchildren, Kaelen and Addison O’Connor, Declan McCann, Neveah Kelley, Kylie Harris, Rhylie Lane, Brittney and Larrissa Arnall, and Roxie Donevan; ten step-great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Paul will be greatly missed by his family.
