Paul David Worley (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Paul David Worley, son of Arthur and Pearl Leishing Worley, was born March 17, 1934, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in Lebanon South Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-five years, three months, and twenty-three days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his ex-wife, Dora Lee Worley; a brother, Ivan Worley; and a sister, Lucille.
Paul is survived by his companion, Joanne Gipson, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter, Vickie Iseman, of Overland Park, Kansas; a son, David Worley, of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brandon, Michelle, a great-grandchild, Charlee; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Lebanon and then entered the military as a young man. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army for a few years. He then made his home in the Kansas City, Kansas area where he served as a police officer for the city of Kansas City, Kansas for twenty-five years. He retired as a Lieutenant with the police office, and then moved to Lebanon.
In his spare time he enjoyed square dancing and liked visiting with his family and friends.
Paul was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, companion, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
