Paula Sue Blackburn (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Paula Sue Blackburn, daughter of Kenneth P. and Margaret A. McGuire Begley, was born December 6, 1957, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She departed this life Sunday, March 15, 2020, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, three months, and nine days.
On June 28, 1991, she was united in marriage to Richard L. Blackburn, and they shared the last twenty-eight years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Kenneth W. Keys.
Paula is survived by her husband, Richard, of the home; four daughters, Sherry Keys, Charlene Keys, Kimberly Brown, and Sabrina Garner, and her husband, Jeremy, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Bruce Begley, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four sisters, Patricia Myers, and her husband, Frank, of Sleeper, Missouri, Sharon Wilmoth, of Springfield, Missouri, Lucreatia Leetch, and her husband, Tim, of Eldridge, Missouri, and Carla Marshall, and her husband, Chuck, of Drumright, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Oklahoma and then moved to Missouri. She made her home in the Lebanon area and lovingly raised her children. She was a devoted homemaker and also was employed by the H. D. Lee Company, then Detroit Tool Company, and Justice Furniture Company for a number of years. She later worked for Marine Electric for fifteen years before retiring.
In her spare time she enjoyed playing games on her phone, watching the Home and Garden Television channel, and working in her garden where she grew beautiful sunflowers. She was always there when someone needed her and took care of everyone. She loved her family dearly and had a very close relationship with her father. She also enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Paula was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
