She departed this life Sunday, July 9, 2006, in St. John’s Regional Health Center, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-seven years, three months, and nine days. On August 17, 1937 she was united in marriage to Luther Gray who preceded her in death on March 29, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill and Jess Bennett; and a sister, Betty Lee. Pauline is survived by a sister, Ruth Raney, of Mansfield, Missouri; two brothers, Charlie Bennett, and his wife, Bessie, of Macomb, Missouri; and Maney Bennett of Mansfield, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Bertha Bennett, of Macomb, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born, raised and spent all of her life in the Macomb area. She was a kind and sharing person and even though she had a small kitchen she loved preparing huge meals for her family and friends. Pauline had made her profession of faith in Christ at an early age and had attended the Macomb Assembly of God Church, where she faithfully served the Lord for many years. In her spare time she greatly enjoyed gardening, growing beautiful flowers, cooking, and loved going hunting and fishing with Luther. Pauline was a loving sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2006, in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Mansfield. Burial will be in the Ashley Cemetery.
