Pauline Joyce Collier ( Lebanon)'s Obituary
Pauline Collier, 91 of Lebanon, died Friday morning, May 18, 2012 at Christian Health Care South.
She was born Sept. 9, 1920, in Clarinda, Iowa, to George Washington and Bessie Bonnie Benton Howard.
On Sept. 5, 1936, she married John Eldon Collier.
Besides being a devoted homemaker for her husband and family, Pauline also worked as a seamstress for the H.D. Lee Company for several years.
Pauline Collier had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Community Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John, on Dec. 30, 1993; two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Ray and her husband, Lee, of Richland, and Rosalie Hooge of McAllen, Texas; a son, John Collier Jr. and his wife, Jeannie, of Payson, Ariz.; eight granchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, David Howard and his wife, Brenda, of Washington, Ill.; a sister, Joanne Cook and her husband, Clifford, of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
