Pauline Ella “Polly” Littlewood, of Hartville was the daughter of Robert Frances and Ella Elizabeth (Corbin) Sumpter; she was born April 12, 1932 in LaJunta, Colorado and departed this life on December 22, 2020, in Licking, Missou Read Obituary
Polly and George welcomed Danny and I and our family to Little Creek Baptist Church with their warm friendship in 1994. Polly was always supportive of the various ministries of the church. My favorite memories were the times we visited at her home as neighbors! 💙 Prayers for the Littlewood family.
Polly loved to laugh and always had a twinkle in her eye. I loved it when she shared her memories with me. I smile when I think of all her adventures a school bus driver, but my favorite story was the bull stopping the golf cart when he lifted his head after getting in the feed that was on the back of it. In my mind, I could see her and George laughing when they figured out why the golf cart had stopped moving. She loved life and was loved very much.
So sorry to learn of Polly passing! I remember her at Amanda's softball games. Prayers for your family during this time!
We are never prepared to lose a parent. My heart goes out to all the family. Polly was a bright light in the small community of Higbee, CO. George, Georgia and Ann - my prayers and support during this time.
