Pearl Cossins' Obituary
Pearl Louise Cossins, age 94, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away at 2:36pm on Monday, December 29, 2008 at Citizen's Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri. She was born May 15, 1914 in Polk, Missouri to Byard Armstrong and Deeliza Ruth Spillman Armstrong. She was a homemaker and a member of the Enon Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; Loyal R. Cossins on February 10, 1988 and a son; George R. Cossins on July 18, 2006. She is survived by her five daughters; Roberta Louise Rhoades of Bates City, Missouri, Vera Marie Dickerson of Bolivar, Missouri, Virginia Lee Cole of Bolivar, Missouri, Effie Maxine Cron of Springfield, Missouri, Lois Fern Cole of Hollister, Missouri, 26 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, January 2, 2009 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Jerry Book officiating. Musical selections will be Wings Of A Dove, Supper Time, and Great Speckled Bird sung by Malinda Batten with Greg Ankrom as the pianist. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery in Wishart, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am Friday prior to service time at the funeral home.
