Peggy Livingston's Obituary
Peggy Joan Livingston, daughter of Vernon and Ruth (Williams) Goin, was born October 6, 1947, in Christian County, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday, April 16, 2006, at her home, in Marshfield, Missouri, at the age of fifty-eight years, six months, and ten days. On May 7, 1988 she was united in marriage to Donald Livingston. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Garman Rousseau; a grandson, Nicholas Brumley; a brother, Rick Goin; and a sister, Anna Marie Brumley. Peggy is survived by her husband, Don, of the home; four sons, Roger Brumley, and his wife, Tammy, and David Brumley, all of Mansfield, Missouri, Scotty Rousseau, and Marcus Livingston, both of Marshfield, Missouri; two grandchildren, Nathan and Kourtney Brumley; a sister, Debbie Harvill, and her husband, Mickey, of Oldfield, Missouri; a brother, Butch Goin, and his wife, Monica, of Ozark, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Vickie Goin, of Chadwick, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was raised in Douglas County and attended Ava schools. She was a loving and devoted homemaker, caring for her family. Peggy had made her profession of faith in Christ, and was a member of Mound Fundamental Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed working on puzzles and quilts and loved being outdoors. She was also an avid reader. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will treasure the memories she has created for her family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006, in the Macomb Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 7 - 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Mansfield, Missouri.
