Peggy Sue Sharpe (Bolivar)'s Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Peggy Sue Sharpe, of Bolivar, Missouri on February 23, 2025 at the age of 51. Peggy was born on August 30, 1973 in Charlottesville, VA to Benjamin and Linda Sharpe (Chesley). She was the oldest of five children and loved taking care of her younger siblings.
Peggy was a proud mom of her three children and the best Nana to her grandchildren. Whether she was FaceTiming her out of state family or stopping by to check in on her loved ones, everyone knew how much she loved her family. Peggy had a smile that would light up any room, and a personality that was big and fun. She lived her life to the fullest and was always writing down inspirational quotes that showed her fire for life. She found joy in the simple things, and especially loved her fuzzy sweaters, unicorns, and had a burnin’ love for Elvis Presley.
Peggy Sue achieved many educational milestones in her life and was always learning. She earned her masters degree along with several other certificates that helped her in a variety of work roles, and what she was most passionate about, her most recent business. Peggy owned and operated PB Coaching Solutions where she worked to help others in many ways like life coaching, reiki therapy, and teaching classes. She made time for her clients no matter how busy her schedule and we know she will be missed in this role.
Peggy leaves behind a family that will miss her dearly every day. She will be lovingly remembered by: her children, Phillip Nelsen of Bolivar, MO (wife Cristen), Mikaela Lumpkin of Richmond, VA (husband Jonathan), Richard Nelsen Jr of Lebanon, MO (fiancé Katie), and Mali Blackstock of Nixa, MO; her grandchildren, Callie and Noah (Phillip), Jimmie, Alyssiah, Wyatt, and Adrianna (Mikaela), and Katelynn and Cameron (Richard); her mother, Linda Barret; her siblings, Benny Sharpe, Lisa Sharpe, and Jennifer Sharpe; her kitty cats, Luna and Fred; and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
She was preceded in death by Kenneth Mac Sharpe (brother), Benjamin Sharpe (father), John Barret (dad), and Patricia and Ralph Stanley (best friends).
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Butler Funeral Home, located at 407 East Broadway Bolivar, Missouri 65613.
“Trust the path, even if you can’t see it all. Let go of perfection + welcome progress in every breath, find a reason to be grateful.”- Peggy Sharpe
