Peggy Ann Simpson (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Peggy Ann Simpson, 80, of Bolivar, MO passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center, Buffalo. The daughter of Alpha O. and Julia Bastion Buckner, She was born August 28, 1934, in Golden City, MO.
She married Leo G. Simpson, January 27, 1951. She was a homemaker and worked in banking until retiring. She spent most of her life in Hickory and Polk Counties and the Kansas City area. She is survived by three children, Pamela Alexander and husband Jim of Tunas, Pattie Darby and husband Randy of Hermitage, Ricky Simpson and Wife Bonnie of Lee’s Summit; Grandchildren, Julie Moore (Jeremey), Daniel Alexander (Amber), Sara Alexander, Heather Allred, (Dustin), Philip Simpson, Jason Darby (Rhonda) Angela Garrison (Tyler); 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Max Buckner and wife Betty of Pittsburg; a nephew Harlen Richey who was more of a bother and his wife Debbie of Bolivar; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, Leo; her parents; a brother Junior Buckner; and four sisters Irene Stephenson, Alice Turner, Hazel Biggers and Myrtle Jean White.
