Peggy Sue Boring (Seymour)'s Obituary
Peggy Sue Boring, age 76, a life long Seymour resident, passed away Wednesday April 25, 2018 at Heart of the Ozarks Care Center in Ava. She was born Monday, January 12, 1942 in Pond Fork, Missouri, one of nine children born to Lawrence Duckworth and Alta (Wheeler) Duckworth. She attended Seymour schools and graduated from Seymour High School. On May 4, 1962 she was united in marriage to Wilbur Loyal Boring and to this union a son was born.
Peggy loved sewing and worked as a seamstress for H.D. Lee, Rawlings and Brown Shoe Factory. She enjoyed quilting as well and had loved the farm life, spending time with her family and the grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as talking on the phone to the “Wanda Network” of friends! Her family recalls she was a great listener and they came to her for her opinion, good or bad. She had been a member of the Seymour First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Wilbur L. Boring, Jr. and wife Kristine of Seymour; three grandchildren Heather Knight and husband Kevin of St. Paul, Texas, Emily Boring of Kaiser, Oregon and Zachary Boring of Seymour; three great grandchildren Aiden Knight, Addison Knight and Aaron Knight; three brothers Joy Duckworth, Larry Duckworth and wife Wanda, Junior Duckworth and wife Rosalee and two sisters Anita DeArmond and husband Frank and Jalane Childress and husband Ed.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband in 2016, her parents, and three sisters.
Peggy was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and as we celebrate her life we will miss her dearly.
