Peggy Jeanne Suski (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Peggy Jeanne (Hood) Suski, daughter of Jack and Mildred (Adkinson) Robinson, was born in Fredrick, Illinois on May 12, 1936, and departed this life on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at her home in Elkland, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was 86 years, two months, and 29 days of age.
After graduating high school, Peggy worked as a key punch operator; but her true calling was always a mother and homemaker. She was married to Casmir John Suski on October 25, 1958, in Rockford, Illinois. Peggy was very independent after the passing of Casmir up until a car accident she had in 2017. From there on her health rapidly declined due to two major strokes and two major surgeries.
Peggy loved to garden, tend to her huge flower beds, sew, quilt, and carve wood with her husband. She was very active in her church, Our Savior Lutheran Church in Buffalo, Missouri.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and children, Kathy Friis and husband Enie, and Jennifer and Justin Friis. She is survived by her son, David Suski of Elkland, Missouri; a brother, Jerry Hood and wife Yvonne of Rockford, Illinois; a granddaughter, Ambur Yaught and husband Evan; and three great-grandchildren, Brittany Suski, Keely, and Kolson. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorial Services for Peggy will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri. Visitation will take place before the service at 5:00 p.m. Pastor Jeff Sippy will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Buffalo, Missouri.
