Perry McCleanahan's Obituary
Perry Clay McClenahan, son of Thomas Clay and Barbara E. Sullins McClenahan, was born April 29, 1992, in Raleigh, North Carolina. He departed this life Saturday, April 18, 2009, in his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixteen years, eleven months, and nineteen days. His paternal grandfather, Perry Ray McClenahan, preceded him in death. Perry is survived by his parents, Clay and Barbara McClenahan, of the home; his sister, Katie McClenahan, of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Shirley Sullins, of Springfield, Missouri; his paternal grandparents, Louis and Bobbi Still, of Ozark, Missouri; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of friends. He was born in North Carolina, and moved with his family to Lebanon, Missouri before his first birthday. He attended Lebanon R-III Schools and was currently in his junior year of study at Lebanon High School. Perry always enjoyed hanging out with his friends and liked playing X-box games. He was a good friend and was willing to stand up for the underdog. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor and liked to laugh. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were deer hunting, floating, and camping. He had even gone camping when there was snow on the ground. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed family times. Perry was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin, and was a caring and loyal friend. We celebrate his life and will hold tight to the wonderful memories he created for his family and friends. Services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday April 22, 2009 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial will be in Cabool Cemetery in Cabool, Missouri. Visitation is Tuesday evening 7-8:30 pm at the funeral home under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Lebanon, Missouri. Return to top
