Peyton A. Buckner (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Peyton Alexandra Buckner, daughter of Jason and Malissa Dalke Buckner, was born June 21, 1995, in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, September 14, 2020, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of twenty-five years, two months, and twenty-three days.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Reilli Jordyn Buckner.
Peyton is survived by two sons, Jason Alexander Wolfe and Jaxton Jordyn Kayne Wolfe, both of the home; her parents, Jason and Malissa Buckner, of Lebanon, Missouri; one sister, Kathryn Buckner, of Lebanon, Missouri; three brothers, Logan Buckner, of Kansas City, Missouri, Dearriean Littles, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Joseph Jones, of Kansas City, Kansas; her maternal grandmother, Kathi Dalke, of Lebanon, Missouri; her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Yates, of Marshall, Texas; her maternal great-grandmother, Joan McGuire, of Lebanon, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Amy Dalke, Rachel Dalke, and Brandon Dalke; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, and then moved with her family to Lebanon when she was in her sophomore year of high school. She then graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 2013. While in high school, she was active in sports and was on the track team and wrestling team. She was a devoted homemaker and loving mother to her two sons.
She liked music and enjoyed singing. She also liked to do craft projects. The greatest joy in her life was being a mom and she loved her family dearly.
Peyton was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in Lebanon.
