Phillip Todd Brown (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Todd Brown was born on October 31, 1965 to Lieu Brown and Ann Briley in Creston, Iowa. He departed for heaven on January 30, 2023. When he was 8 years old, he moved with his family to Pumpkin Center, and he remained local to the area for the rest of his life.
On June 28, 1985, he married Lisa Turner of Urbana, Missouri and together they shared 37 years. To this union they welcomed their son, Logan and their daughter, Kayla. In his young adult life he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Todd was very passionate in all he did. He spent his working years as a welder in manufacturing, where he primarily worked on boats. When he was not at work, you would find him close to home with his family, where he enjoyed coon, deer, and turkey hunting, and fishing. When he was no longer able to work, his hobbies included bush craft, blacksmith work, and gardening. He did his best to remain undeterred by his illness. He faced everyday with optimism and ambition. To us, it seemed impossible, but to him it didn’t matter.
As proud as he was with his work and hobbies, he was proudest and happiest spending time with his family. His four granddaughters were his pride and joy.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Lieu and his mother, Ann. He is survived by his wife Lisa of the home; his son, Logan and wife Wanda Brown of Urbana, MO; his daughter, Kayla and husband Matt Rollins of Louisburg, MO; four granddaughters, Kinley Brown, Kassidie, Brooklyn and Mattilyn Rollins; his stepfather, Gary Briley; and three brothers, Michael Brown, Daric Briley, and Darin Briley all of Buffalo, MO. Todd will be missed by all who knew and loved him, but we have the promise to see him again one day in heaven.
Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
