Phillip Minks (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Phillip Douglas Minks, son of Phillip Randolph and Mary Katherine Henke Minks, was born May 5, 1947. He passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri. He was seventy-nine years, one month and fifteen days of age.
Phillip was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, but had moved to Lebanon thirty years ago to be close to Bennett Spring State Park. He loved fishing in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks.
Phillip was united in marriage to Virginia Anne Minks. They celebrated forty years of love and wonderful memories together.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Mary; his wife, Virginia (Ginny); and his son, Scott Sandoval; and his grandson Austin Lee Thater; his sister Janice Minks.
Phillip is survived by his children, Timothy Minks of Florissant, Missouri, Tracy Steinberg, and Tara Sandoval; his brother, Zachary Dean Minks; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and his sister, Katherine Stockglausner and her husband Mike.
Phillip was a member of the Painters Union in St. Louis and worked on the St. Louis Arch and the Galleria Mall. He also was an over-the-road semi-truck driver for twenty years. He enjoyed working and the career path he chose. He also looked forward to going to auctions and buying things he may or may not have needed.
Phillip will be greatly missed and his memory will stay in the hearts of those he loved.
