Phillip Donald Rose (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Phillip Donald Rose was born February 9, 1954 in Ellsmore, Missouri to Phillip Burk and Myrtle M. Drake Rose. He passed away in his home Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the age of seventy years, nine months and fourteen days.
He spent most of his life in Lebanon, Missouri and after attending elementary school in Competition, Missouri, he went on to graduate from Lebanon High School.
Phillip enjoyed being on the farm and helped his brothers in their Auction Company. He was also involved with Laclede Industries in Lebanon. He was active at Sunnyview Free Will Baptist Church and loved his church family very much.
Phillip was preceded in death by the couple who raised him, W.D. (Jag) and Bernice Heafley; his parents, Phillip and Myrtle Rose; his brother Larry Heafley and his wife Karen and several other foster brothers.
He is survived by his brother, Garry Heafley and his wife Kay of Lebanon, Missouri; a special nephew, Van Allen Heafley and his wife Patricia of Lebanon, Missouri and other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, including Garrett Heafley and Katie Black.
Phillip loved being on the farm, checking on the cows and helping out where ever he was needed. He enjoyed watching westerns and doing word search puzzles.
His life rotated around his family and he will certainly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
