Phyllis Boyer's Obituary
Phyllis J. Boyer, daughter of Walter Scott and Nettie Summers Harrison, was born June 24, 1917 in Wright County, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, December 2, 2011 in the Hartville Care Center, Hartville, Missouri, at the age of ninety four years, five months, and eight days.
Phyllis was married to Lawrence Boyer who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Randy Jeffries of Fresno, California; as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Phyllis was an adventurous lady. At the age of ninety-one, she drove herself to California and back to visit family and to enjoy all that the drive had to offer. She was an avid gambler, and especially enjoyed playing Bingo. Phyllis had served as a past-president of her local Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose Organization, where she also served as a life-time member. She also enjoyed cat fishing, and was an excellent seamstress.
Phyllis was a faithful servant of God, whose tender heart felt the movings of the Holy Spirit in her soul. She surpassed beyond all the heartaches of this life last Friday morning, only to enter Gods wonderful Kingdom and all his glory. Our hearts are saddened to think of her being absent from our lives. Yet we are assured that she is enjoying a better world and such happiness in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville, Missouri. Online condolences may be made at www.holmanhowehartville.com
