Priscilla Pat Daugherty's Obituary
Priscilla Ann “Pat” Daugherty, daughter of Eugene Jerome and Iola June (Smith) Beier, was born August 14, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She departed this life Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri, at the age of fifty-eight years, six months, and twenty-five days. On January 7, 1989, Pat was united in marriage to Dr. Dwight Richard Daugherty, and together they have shared the past eighteen years. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Rita Beier; and a brother, Jimmy Beier. She is survived by her husband, Dwight, of the home; a daughter, Jennifer Daugherty, of Marquette Heights, Illinois; six brothers, John, Tony, Mike, Paul, Dean, and Keith, all of Wisconsin; four sisters, Marie, Louise, Renee, and Margaret, all of Wisconsin; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a number of relatives and many friends. Pat spent her early years in the Milwaukee and Oshkosh, Wisconsin areas, as well as Humansville, Missouri. After she and Dwight were married, they moved to the Seymour area to make their home. Pat had made her profession of faith in Christ. She enjoyed working on various quilting and sewing projects and owned an on-line quilting store, Turtle Gap Quilts. In her spare time, Pat loved to go flying with her husband in his plane and was taking lessons to become a pilot. She took pride in her garden and canning the produce that she grew; she also loved animals. Pat was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for family and many dear friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Seymour. Memorials to the St. Joseph's Indian School of Chamberlain, South Dakota, may be made through the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour, Missouri.
