Quentin Lee Jones (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Quentin Lee Jones was born in Valley View IL on May 6, 1970 to Paul and Carmen Jones. He was the youngest of two children.
Quentin spent his early years surrounded by a large, loving and close knit family in Valley View. Paul, his father, was one of ten children so there were many aunts, uncles and cousins in Quentin’s life as he grew up. In 1987 Paul and Carmen relocated to Bolivar, Mo with their sons. Quentin graduated from Fair Play High School in 1988. After high school Quentin worked for Hudson Foods and then Tracker Marine.
During his life Quentin was blessed with four beautiful children; Lacy, Jozef, Carmen and Adam, and two granddaughters, Ava and Adalyn.
Quentin was an avid outdoorsman who excelled at hunting and fishing. His most precious times were spent outdoors with his children. A frequent outing was “hanging out” at the Pomme de Terre dam fishing, playing or just sitting and spending time together in nature. He was always able to come up with something for them to do together outside.
On March 31, 2023, Quentin left this earthly life and returned home to be in peace with His Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Jones, in May of 1996. He is survived by his father, Paul Jones and his brother, Paulie Jones, both of Bolivar, Missouri; children Lacy Hembree of Louisiana, Jozef Hembree, currently deployed with the US Army, Carmen Jones of Bolivar, Missouri and Adam and, his wife, Mariah Jones of Humansville, Missouri; two granddaughters, Ava and Adalyn and numerous other relatives. He will be sorely missed by those who loved him.
