R. Kenneth Brown (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Kenneth Brown, 87, of Montreal, MO passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, MO. Kenneth was born on June 20, 1933, in Camden County, Missouri, to Clarence and Bertha Brown. Kenneth was a member of High Point Baptist Church in Stoutland for many years. He was a farmer, hauled livestock and delivered goods, such as boats, sugar beets, coal and cement all over the country. He also owned feed stores in Camdenton and Montreal in his early years. He truly loved raising cattle on the land where he was born and raised.
Survivors include four nieces and two nephews, JoNetta Weaver (Randy) of Columbia, Rand Swanigan (Carolyn) of Jefferson City, Russ Swanigan (Cindy) of Jefferson City, Debbie Cohoon-Holt of Excelsior Springs, Donna Swope (Steve) of Lawson, and Rhonda Morris (Marlin) of Lawson, and special friend, Virginia Webster, as well as many friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Bertha (Hammer) Brown, his sisters, Katherine Swanigan and Mabel Giles and niece, Janelle Swanigan.
Private graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. in High Point Cemetery in Stoutland, Missouri on Wednesday, Dec. 9. Memorial contributions can be made to High Point Baptist Church, 5168 State Road BB, Stoutland, MO 65567. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
