Rachelle Nicole Howard (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Rachelle Nicole Howard, daughter of Vernie “Dean” and Maria Carmen Murillo Howard, was born November 30, 1997, in El Paso, Texas. She departed this life Saturday, May 2, 2020, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of twenty-two years, five months, and two days.
Her father preceded her in death.
Rachelle is survived by a son, Norman Cole Shepard, of Lebanon, Missouri; her mother, Carmen Howard, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Luis Gonzalez, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Cynthia Murillo, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Ryan Griffin, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Ashley Moore, of Lebanon, Missouri; the father of her son, Justin Shepard, of Lebanon, Missouri; her boyfriend, Jordan Metz, of Springfield, Missouri; her nieces, Raylee Sutton, Stephanie McCaffery, Leslie Griffin, Jaylah Gonzalez, and Kassia Griffin, all of Lebanon, Missouri; her aunt, Martha Murillo, of Mexico; her cousins, Ivan Roman, of Mexico, and Jane Ashby, of Omaha, Nebraska; her best friends, Megan and Heather Dyson, both of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in El Paso, Texas, and then moved with her family to Lebanon, Missouri, where she was raised and graduated from Lebanon High School. She had worked as a communications analyst for a time.
She liked being different from others and loved dark oddities. She liked weird things, fashion and make up. She enjoyed dancing, liked spicy Mexican food, and was very proud of her Hispanic heritage. She loved her son very much and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Rachelle was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
