Ralph William Hosman, Sr. (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Ralph William Hosman Sr. Age 85 of Strafford, Missouri passed away on February 12, 2023.
Ralph was the oldest of three children born to Edward Jackson Hosman, Sr. and Mary Ellen
(Woods-Search) Hosman, on July 17, 1937 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was a High School Football Player, as well as being a Lifeguard at the YMCA.. He Served in the United States Army in the late 1950’s. Then he attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.
He was an avid Hunter who also enjoyed fishing, and was known to sit a stand even when injured.
He is a lifelong Member of the North American Hunting Club. He retired from Hiland Dairy were
he had worked in the freezer department. He became a Methodist Minister where he was the
founder of a couple of churches in Missouri.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mary, and two siblings Sister Mary and
Brother Jackie.
He is survived by his five children: Angela Gabbard and her husband Chuck of Mt. Home, Arkansas, Ralph Hosman Jr. of Harrison, Arkansas, Juliet Hunsaker of Marshfield, Missouri, Clark Hosman of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Kristi Sparks of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
Also survived by several good friends, hunting buddies and Pastor Mike Allen.
A Private Ceremony will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest at Bass Chapel Cemetery
Fair Grove, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the Charity of your
choice in his name: Ralph W. Hosman Sr..
