Randy J Shaddy (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Randall Jake Shaddy, son of Jake and Mary Barber Shaddy, was born August 8, 1966, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, January 14, 2015, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of forty-eight years, five months, and six days.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sheddie and Flora Mae Barber; and his paternal grandparents, Oscar and Jean Shaddy.
Randy is survived by his parents, Jake and Mary Shaddy, of Lebanon, Missouri; his children, Brikkar and Dalton Shaddy, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Michael Shaddy, and his wife, Amanda, of Lebanon, Missouri; an aunt, Vera Helsley, of Hartville, Missouri; an uncle, Murrell Barber, of the State of Texas; a special friend, Diane Taylor, and her son, Clayton, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon area, and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. He began working for Deb Long and at the Lebanon Livestock Auction and then worked for Bass Tracker for a few years. He became a heavy equipment operator and worked for Koss Construction doing various projects and then worked for Consolidated Electric and E Z Disposal for a time. He was currently employed by Independent Stave Company and also owned Good Ole Boy’s Skid Steer Loader Company.
He enjoyed helping his brother with his car racing and also liked going to auctions. He enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing and hunting. He had an outgoing personality and liked living in the country. He played Little League Baseball when he was a young boy and was a good catcher. He was very tender hearted and sensitive and enjoyed helping others. His family was very important to him and he always centered his life around his children. Spending time with his children brought him great joy and especially when they went fishing, swimming, or sledding.
Randy was a loving son, father, brother, nephew, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and many friends.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
