Randy W. Wright (Seymour)'s Obituary
Randy Wayne Wright was born June 6, 1964, in San Louis Obispo, California, to Jerry Lee Wright, Sr. and Wanda Elaine (Caudle) Wright. He departed this life Tuesday, November 8, 2011, in his home in Marshfield, Missouri, at the age of forty-seven years, five months, and two days.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Debra Walker and Connie Lacy; his niece Kayla Walker; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Randy is survived by his father, Jerry Lee Wright, Sr., of Marshfield, Missouri; his mother and step-father, Wanda and Gary Cuatt, of Seymour, Missouri; his brothers, Jerry Lee Wright, Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, and Andrew Vernon Cuatt, of Seymour, Missouri; his brother-in-law, Jeffery Lacy, of Rogersville, Missouri; several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
He lived in San Louis Obispo until he was nine and then moved to the Seymour area. Randy grew to be a faithful man, committing himself to our Lord Jesus Christ and serving him as a minister for the Church of Christ in the Arkansas and Seymour areas. Cooking was a passion since childhood; he was always mixin’ something together, this and that until it was just right. He took this talent and was a Chef for most of his life. Randy was a natural born comedian, always ready to smile and enjoyed making others laugh. A true movie buff, Randy enjoyed gathering around with his family to see the latest releases. He loved music and especially enjoyed 70’s rock.
A good man, with a heart to match, Randy would do anything for anyone. He devoted his life to his family, caring for his father and spending time with friends. Just as the plants in Randy’s garden, he thrived on the love of his Father God and shared that with others.
Randy was a good and loving son, brother, uncle, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will always treasure the wonderful memories he has created for each of us.
