Raymond Edward, Jr. Sharp's Obituary
Raymond Edward Sharp Jr., son of Raymond Edward Sharp Sr. and Holly Kathleen Ray was born April 11, 1982 in St. Louis Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, September 30, 2007 in Climax Springs, Missouri at the age of twenty-five years, five months and nineteen days. “Ray Ray” was preceded in death by his adoptive grandparents, Raymond James and Cuma L. Sharp; as well as his paternal grandparents, Jack and Darla Follett. He is survived by his father, Raymond Edward Sharp Sr. and his wife, Kimberlee, of Edwards, Missouri; his mother, Holly Kathleen Ray, of Gresham, Oregon; two brothers, William James Sharp, and his fiancée, Annette Burton, of Edwards, Missouri, and Larry Eugene Sharp, of Gresham, Oregon; five step-brothers, Aaron McDonald-Dodd and his wife, April, and Jerry Marshall and his wife Katie, all of Raytown, Missouri, Davey Blair, of Portland, Oregon, Matthew Marshall, of San Diego, California, and Paul Marshall III, of Edwards, Missouri; two step-sisters, Becca Blair, of Kansas City, Missouri and Nicole Blair, of Portland, Oregon; his maternal grandparents, Christy Campbell, of Blue Springs, Missouri and Jim Ray and his wife, Cherly, of Frost, Texas; step-grandparents, John and Leona Blair, of Portland, Oregon; a step-grandmother, Mildred Dodd of Richmond, Missouri; his Pit Bull “Cash;” a special friend “T”; his nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, as well as many dear friends. “Ray Ray” was born and raised in Climax Springs, and graduated from Benton High School in the Class of 2000. For the past five years, he had worked in Kansas City for the Kelly Hill Company where he operated heavy machinery used in building railroad tracks. In his spare time, “Ray Ray” enjoyed playing softball with his friends, riding motorcycles and driving cars. He was also a member of the Climax Springs Regulators, and loved his Pit Bull “Cash.” The thing that he treasured the most was the times he spent with his lifelong friends and brothers. “Ray Ray” was a loving son, brother, step-brother, grandson, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories he has created for his family and many friends. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2007, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Climax Springs Cemetery, Climax Springs, Missouri. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials to the family may be made through the funeral home.
