I remember as a young boy, I couldn't wait for my Dad to get home from work, I would run to him and he loved it, I liked helping him take his huge boots off, that was an everyday thing we did, then a few years later he signed me and my brother up for little league we were the Mets, my Dad was the plate umpire, I was the catcher, and my brother Jerry was the pitcher, he coached us in all kinds of sports, a very positive light in our early years, then after graduating he took me to Texas to begin my first major job, operating heavy equipment, we lived together for years him and I grew very close and had a lot of fun through the years, he took me on so many road trips, he was my buddy, my friend, my confidant, my hero, he was my Dad.
