Raymond Smith (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Raymond Ira Smith, 94, Bolivar, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at his home.
Raymond was born, July 3, 1921 in Fair Play, MO. He was the son of Henry I. and Della Mae Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty Jeanne; his parents, Henry I and Della Mae Smith; a son, Terry Smith of Troy, AL; and five sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by a daughter, Beverly Floyd and her husband Nelson of Troy, AL; son Tony Smith and his wife Ann of Troy, AL; step son David Steffens and his wife Mary of Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He worked at Fasco Manufacturing Company for 17 years and retired in 1985. He was also a long time farmer in Bolivar, Mo, Raymond served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to CMH Hospice of Bolivar.
