Rebecca Lord (Humansville)'s Obituary
Rebecca A. Lord, age 72, of Dunnegan, Missouri, passed away at her home, on December 8, 2016.
Rebecca was born on October 6, 1944 to Francis Grove and Homer Hendershot. She attended school in the Blue Springs area. She worked for the IRS in a clerical position, and retired from there. While working, she moved often, and lived many places.
She was then married to Dale Morrison, and from this union one child was born. Dale later passed, and then on March 31, 1975 Rebecca married Jack Lord, who passed away in 2010.
When she was younger Rebecca enjoyed showing and riding horses, and kept a love for them her whole life. However, later in life, she began taking care of goats too, and would always have many around her home. She also raised Jack Russell Terriers. Rebecca was a tremendous Kansas City Chiefs fan, and loved to watch ball games.
Rebecca is survived by her six children, Berry Lord and Brenda, Tina Lord, Cheryl Hoover, and her husband Mike, Ronnie Morrison, and his wife Angie, Jackie Lord and Shannon, and Scott Lord, and his wife Angie; grandchildren, Jesse, Justin, Kayla, Chris, Lindsey, Matthew, Ely, Cooper, Dakota, Samantha, Travis, and Kaitlyn; seven great-grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at the Butler Funeral Home Chapel, in Humansville, Missouri, with Pastor Scott Garner officiating. Burial will follow the funeral, and take place in the Dunnegan Cemetery, in Dunnegan, Missouri.
