My sincere condolences. Mrs. Sharon was the best piano teacher I ever had. She had a heart of gold and was so loving and kind. I will miss her dearly.
The first time I meet Becky was back in July of 2011 (way too many short years on this earth) This was my very first visit to the Seymour United Methodist Church. I remember it well because at the time Pastor Ron was not there his brother had passed away and there was only music and a short service but the people who came up to me and welcomed me that day made me feel like I belonged there and I was part of their family and Beck was one of them. The first thing she said was "Do you know how to play the piano," I laughed and said no...and I sure wish I could have said yes. She snapped her fingers and said not another one well we will keep trying. At that time I didn't know she was looking for someone to take her place as the piano player and how long it had been that she was playing. When it came time for her to retire I know it was difficult but to see her struggle up there and how it was trying on her tore my heart apart I know it was difficult for her to sit up in the pews and not play while her eyes where failing her but I also know God loves to hear us sing acappella. One thing I do know she is making beautiful music up in heaven on keys of Ivory more beautiful than she could ever imagine and Heaven has gained one more saint making a joyful noise unto the Lord. Love you Becky and miss you dearly see you in heaven dear friend.
Becky was a wonderful lady to have for a colleague and friend.
When I was a little girl I didn’t get to see my Aunt Becky and Uncle Jim very often. A year can be a long time when you’re a child! When family gatherings would roll around I would be excited and a little nervous! I remember arriving after the long car trip and Aunt Becky would wrap her arms around me. Immediately I had a sense that all was right with the world!
Years went by and when I came to believe in Jesus we became “family” in a new way..... by our common faith. Finally, as an older adult, I found myself caring for my own children and parents at the same time. Aunt Becky often would call me and ask, “How are you, Hon?” Simple enough, right?! But at the sound of her voice I would feel that old childhood feeling.... I was loved and all was right with the world!
Thank you, Aunt Becky!
She was amazing lady . When I was young lady she taught me how to play the piano and I enjoyed the piano recitals we would go to she was such a compassionate lady we sure are going to miss her.. Lisa Diehl
Mrs. Sharon was the best teacher ever.
Curtis and I have fond memories of Becky. Loved the laughs at McDonald’s and her kind words.

Becky was always ready to lend a helping hand. I always knew that when she said "I am here for you" she meant it! I remember calling her in a frenzy one afternoon and asking her if she could help me out with the mess I made on the afghan I was knitting for my granddaughter's graduation. She said "come right over! I'll put some water on for tea, and we'll have a look!" She patiently showed me how to get back on the right stitch! She was quite a lady and I will miss her very much!!
